EASY TO FIT
Installing our guards is a simple process, by following the instructions and use of a few tools such as a clip remover or wide flathead screwdriver and hand pressure or small hammer, you will fit them in around 40 minutes.
Put the clips into the guard and fit the guard over the wheel, if a one piece, start to secure from the top and work down each side, give each one a gentle tap with a small hammer to secure into the hole. Do not use excessive force as this is likely to brake them.
The guards are not designed to fit tightly, they are secured to the body and chassis and should allow for movement and flex as the vehicle navigates rough or uneven ground.
Occasionally a hole may be a bit tricky to fit the clip, a previous owner may have drilled out the hole to fit a rivet, in this instance you will need to source a clip to suit the hole.
MAINTENANCE
Our guards leave our workshop with an application of rubber sealant, on both sides, this provides enhanced suppleness and UV protection. We recommend you apply rubber sealant once a year to maintain the rubber properties and provide long term protection from natural drying conditions and maintain the hydrophobic qualities.
We use and can recommend CarPro Perl, this can be found at:
